How it works
Water enters a pre-filtration chamber retaining the bigger particles bodies that could block the operation mechanism. Then it flows through the special thin stainless steel filtration screen retaining dirty. The accumulation of substances on the screen surface generates an inlet-outlet pressure difference. When such difference reaches the set point (adjustable from 0.2 to 07 bar) the control unit activates the discharge valve. This is when the flushing starts. The flux of discharge water generates the helical rotation of the rotor arm where the suction nozzles are installed. The special configuration of the rotor arm ensures that the whole filtering area is perfectly cleaned by the suction nozzles. At the end of the cycle (lasting 10/20 seconds), the discharge valve goes back to the closing position and the rotor arm to its initial position, ready for the following flushing process.
