Anti-frost irrigation allows to keep temperature of vegetal organs close to 0° C, covering them with a continuous formation of ice, until the end of the frost. The protection of crops is assured by the energy released by water when it freezes.
Standard sprinklers for anti-frost irrigation systems are small/medium capacity impulse sprinklers.
